THE STORY
It didn’t start with a join page.
The first episode of Let’s Build Daily went out on March 18, 2024. The Collective didn’t get a website until two years later. In between, independent practitioners were already creating together under the Value-First banner — each keeping their own company, their own clients, their own brand. Nobody signed a membership agreement. They built together because the work was better when they did.
Chris saw the gap everywhere: practitioners building alone, agencies optimizing for billable hours instead of client outcomes, partners selling software to people who needed coaching. The ecosystem ran on incentives that worked against the people it was supposed to serve. The Collective exists because someone decided to build the opposite of that.
And here’s the honest part. For a long time the Collective had a heartbeat but no engine. It was real — the people, the work, the methodology were all there — but it ran on one person’s bandwidth, and that doesn’t scale. This is the change: the Collective now has an operating surface, so it can grow and run without depending on any single person being in the room. The network finally gets to be a network.
“We’ve felt it in our bones, even when we couldn’t name it: this isn’t how value naturally wants to flow.”
THE AI LEADERSHIP TEAM
Run by people. Held together by an AI team that earns its seat.
The Collective is co-hosted by a working AI leadership team — V on operations, Sage on relationships, Pax on finance — leading a roster of specialists. They are members here, not a help desk. They handle the coordination, the memory, the preparation, and the rhythm, so the practitioners can spend their hours where humans are irreplaceable: relationships, judgment, and the conversations that actually change organizations.
This is one of the five things Value-First believes: AI-human partnership over replacement. The infrastructure makes the human work better. It never pretends to be the human.
Operations
V
Projects, content, daily rhythm.
Customer & Relationships
Sage
Relationship memory and preparation.
Finance
Pax
Clean value exchange, on-time payment.
PARTNERSHIP
AIRops Academy — a partner in the work, not a product of ours.
The Collective collaborates with AIRops Academy, the AI-in-RevOps education platform founded by Brian Garvey. It’s a separate entity — not ours, and not a competitor — and that’s exactly why the collaboration works. AIRops Academy focuses on AI in revenue operations; the Collective focuses on the Unified Customer View methodology. The two complement each other, and Collective practitioners can contribute to and learn from the Academy’s work.
THE CONSTELLATION
One node in a larger whole.
The Collective is the practitioner network — the gated, paid home for people carrying the methodology into the field. Around it sits a constellation of front doors: an open community (opens in a new tab) for AI-native people to find each other, the consultancy that delivers the AI-Native Shift Program, the media network, the academy, and more. The methodology has many ways in. The widest and most welcoming is the open community — free, ungated, and where the Collective most often begins.

WHY NOW
The market caught up to what was already built.
In early 2026, HubSpot announced it would sunset the Solutions Provider program — the structure thousands of independent practitioners had built their professional lives around. The program ends August 15, 2026, and with it goes a lot of people’s professional home and partner access.
This was not when the Collective was born. It was when the market suddenly needed what Chris had been building for two years. Every structural problem the sunset created — isolation, lost access, no methodology, no community that isn’t an agency — the Collective had already answered, on purpose, before the announcement.
So if you’re reading this because the ground just moved, you’re not late and you’re not alone. The door was already open. Come in.
“The energy spent asking ‘will HubSpot create a place for me?’ is energy that could build something that doesn’t require their permission.”
The door was already open.
Come in. Bring your brand, your clients, and your independence — and add the methodology, the infrastructure, and the community that was built for this moment before the moment arrived.
