HOW VALUE IS SHARED
Contribution-based value sharing — explained plainly.
The Collective shares value based on what you contribute — sourcing, delivery, content, referrals — not on a commission you owe anyone. It is the opposite of a middleman taking a cut. Your own project revenue is yours, one hundred percent; it flows to your own business, not through ours. Your membership funds the shared foundation — the platform, the infrastructure, the methodology — so the network keeps running for everyone.
To be clear about the mechanics: practitioners are independent contractors, and value sharing is settled in the back office on transparent terms — not on this website. There’s no marketplace here, no transaction between you and another member, no cut skimmed from your work. This page explains the model; it doesn’t run it.
Why we gate it.
A home that anyone can buy into without being seen isn’t really a home. We read every application by hand. We accept the practitioners who fit, and we turn down the ones who don’t — kindly, and with a pointer to where they might fit better. That’s not gatekeeping for its own sake; it’s how we protect what it feels like to be inside. The price keeps the foundation funded. The acceptance keeps the room worth being in.
