Independent Contractor

I run an independent RevOps consulting practice, typically 2-3 concurrent part-time engagements with enterprise SaaS clients, with 6+ years in revenue operations and 26+ HubSpot certifications including Certified Trainer. My work sits across the full stack: from C-suite reporting architecture down to custom-coded HubSpot workflow actions and private app development, wherever the platform's native tooling stops being enough.

I spent about five years in marketing and sales, running PR and compliance for a boutique firm, business development, and sales operations, before pivoting into RevOps and HubSpot roughly three years ago. Since then I've been doing it independently: a 360-degree HubSpot Enterprise implementation for an AI-powered bookkeeping platform (Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Stripe-to-HubSpot attribution, RAG agents for customer success), a concurrent consulting engagement with a HubSpot agency that's still active (renewal automation, custom-coded workflow actions, AI agents for lead and customer success work), and my current engagement leading a 360-degree RevOps rebuild for a PE-backed client through a three-company merger: consolidating three CRMs into one HubSpot instance, transforming data across 120K+ companies and 400K+ contacts, and building the attribution and reporting layer leadership runs on.

Working independently means the operational infrastructure I build has to survive contact with messy reality on my own: mergers, migrations, manual processes that don't scale, fixed with platform configuration, custom code, and AI where it earns its keep. But it also means I sometimes hit projects too large for one person, and I've had no shared pool of industry expertise to pull from when a problem sits outside my depth. That's what the shift to Value-First is for me: access to a panel of experienced practitioners I can bring onto larger engagements, a shared knowledge base to sharpen my own thinking against, and a peer group actively pushing AI-native infrastructure, which is where I want my own practice to keep moving.
